Cinnamon oil is extracted from cinnamon bark. This oil is known for its numerous therapeutic benefits and contains chemical compounds with healing properties, such as eugenol and benzyl benzoate. It relieves pain, inflammation, bacteria, and bad breath. It also helps eliminate malignant cells and protects against heart disease, among other benefits. Benefits include: stimulating blood circulation and reducing the risk of heart attacks; regulating bowel movements and treating diarrhea; relieving stomach acidity, flatulence, and indigestion; enhancing mental activity by strengthening memory and reducing nervous tension; alleviating joint pain and rheumatism, and treating inflamed areas when applied topically; helping to control and regulate blood sugar levels; eliminating bacteria and germs in the mouth and improving bad breath when used as a mouthwash; and acting as an aphrodisiac for both men and women. Uses: It is used to treat headaches and also helps combat and reduce the symptoms of colds and flu. It can also be used to relieve middle ear pain. Applying diluted cinnamon oil to the hair stimulates blood flow to the hair follicles, strengthening them, preventing breakage, promoting growth, increasing shine, and making the hair easier to style. Internal Uses: Cinnamon oil can be added to food to give it a distinctive flavor, or to drinks and baked goods by adding a few drops. Half a teaspoon can be added to half a cup of water and used as a mouthwash to eliminate inflammation and bad breath. External Uses: A cinnamon oil and honey mask can be made by mixing a small amount of cinnamon oil with a spoonful of honey and applying the mixture to the face. This mixture helps get rid of pimples and blemishes. Cinnamon oil can also be used to treat acne by mixing a small amount with lemon juice and applying it to the pimples.
