Black Seed Oil

Description

The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said that black seed contains a cure for every disease except death. Black seed oil contains nigellone and thymoquinone. The first compound helps treat respiratory illnesses and also acts as an anti-allergy agent. The second compound contains anti-inflammatory substances and also acts as an antioxidant. Benefits: Nourishes hair follicles; helps prevent hair loss, thus preventing thinning hair and giving hair softness and shine; increases the efficiency of the immune system and resistance to pathogens; treats lethargy and fatigue and relieves nervous tension; treats kidney and bladder stones; treats stomach pain and acidity; treats coughs and asthma; lowers blood sugar levels; stimulates hair growth and softness and delays the appearance of gray hair; treats cancer, especially in its early stages, and helps prevent it. Added to food: Mix it with equal parts olive or castor oil and massage it into the scalp. Internal use: Add it to food and baked goods for added nutritional value and a distinctive flavor. Alternatively, add half a teaspoon to half a cup of water and drink 2-3 times a day. External use: Mix a small amount with honey and apply to pimples and skin inflammations. Mix equal parts olive oil and apply a few drops to the ear to treat tinnitus, or apply to the scalp to strengthen and lengthen hair and kill head lice.
